Home Help Nearby is a service operated by Gump Global LLC ("we", "us"). We are not a heating and cooling or generator company. When you request help, we pass your request to an independent provider serving your area so they can contact you. This policy explains what we collect and how we use it.

What we collect

We collect the answers you give in our request form, including the service you need, service ZIP code, property type, timing, name, mobile number, email and any details you add. We also record technical information such as your IP address, browser type, page visited, date and time, and the consent wording shown when you submitted.

How we use it

We use your information to review your request, share it with a heating and cooling or generator provider serving your area so they can contact you about it, keep records of your request and consent, prevent fraud, and measure and improve this website.

Who we share it with

We share your request and contact details with an independent provider serving your area. That provider uses your information under its own privacy practices. We also share information with service providers that help us operate this website and our communications, and may disclose information when required by law.

Analytics and session recordings

We use PostHog analytics to understand how visitors move through our pages and request forms. PostHog may record page activity to help us improve the experience. Text you type into form fields is hidden in recordings, and we do not send your name, phone number, email address or free text as analytics event properties. You can control cookies in your browser settings.

Retention

We keep request and consent records for as long as needed to provide the service and meet legal obligations, then delete them.

Your choices

You can reply STOP to any text message to stop texts. To ask us to stop contacting you, or to access or delete your information, email [email protected]. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under state privacy law, and we will honor them as required.

Children

This service is not directed to children under 16 and we do not knowingly collect their information.
